All international students are encouraged to read this information carefully before and during their enrolment.

Studying at DNA Kingston Training
DNA Kingston Training is a CRICOS-registered Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally recognised qualifications to international students in accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) framework.
As an international student, you are expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in scheduled training and assessment
- Meet course progress and assessment requirements
- Comply with your student visa conditions
- Familiarise yourself with DNA Kingston Training’s policies and procedures
Student Support Services
DNA Kingston Training is committed to supporting student wellbeing and academic success.
Support services available to international students may include:
- Academic support and guidance
- Language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) support
- Welfare and wellbeing support
- Referral to external support services where required
Students are encouraged to contact Student Services if they require support at any stage of their course.

Living Expenses (Guide Only)
International students should be aware that living costs in Australia vary depending on lifestyle, accommodation choices, and personal circumstances.
Students are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient funds to cover living expenses, tuition fees, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and other study-related costs for the duration of their course.

International students should also budget for:
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) – mandatory
- Tuition and course fees

- Emergency or contingency funds
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
International students are required to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC for the duration of their stay in Australia. OSHC assists with the cost of medical treatment and hospital care while studying in Australia.
Attendance and Course Progress
International students must maintain satisfactory attendance and academic progress in accordance with course requirements and visa conditions.
DNA Kingston Training monitors student attendance and academic progress and will contact students if concerns are identified. Where appropriate, early intervention and support may be provided to assist students to stay on track.
Working While Studying
International students may have work rights as part of their student visa, subject to visa conditions. Students are responsible for understanding and complying with their individual visa requirements.
Employment should not interfere with study commitments, attendance, or academic progress.
Your Rights as an International Student
The Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) establishes the legal framework governing the delivery of education to international students in Australia.
The ESOS framework:
