Student support services
DNA Kingston Training is committed to supporting students throughout their studies by providing access to appropriate academic, wellbeing, and support services.
We aim to create a supportive learning environment that enables students to engage with their training, meet course requirements, and achieve their learning goals.
Types of Support Available
Student support services may include:
Academic & Learning Support
- Guidance with course requirements and assessment
- Support with understanding training and assessment tasks
- Access to language, literacy, numeracy, and digital (LLND) support where required
Wellbeing & Personal Support
- Support for students experiencing personal or study-related challenges
- Referral to external support services where appropriate
- Assistance during critical incidents
Reasonable Adjustment & Access Support
- Reasonable adjustments for students with disability or learning needs
- Support for students requiring additional assistance to participate in training
- Consideration of individual circumstances in line with access and equity principles
Support for International Students
International students have access to additional support in line with ESOS and National Code requirements, including:
- Assistance with understanding enrolment and course progress requirements
- Guidance on attendance and participation expectations
- Referral to appropriate wellbeing or support services where required
Students are encouraged to seek support as early as possible.
Support can be accessed by contacting DNA Kingston Training directly or by speaking with your trainer or assessor.
External Support Services
Where additional support is required, DNA Kingston Training may refer students to appropriate external services, including:
- Counselling or mental health services
- Medical or community support services
- Emergency support services
External support services operate independently of DNA Kingston Training.

All requests for student support are treated respectfully and confidentially, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Student Support Services Policy.
